Upon This Wall

Upon this wall many pictures hang
Remembrance of places, people, and good times sang

Children come and stand in awe
Many questions of what they saw

Upon this wall faces smile
Many pictures there hung a while

So many people from my past
Pictures all the memory of them that last

The names all lost to the river of time
Such memories lost a crime

I see a new picture upon the wall
Today my name people call

Time passes as it always does
Now none remember who I was

Upon this wall many pictures stay
Who they were time takes away
