March of Times

The place to know your heart

March of Times

March of Times

Life is short and time is shorter as it winds around
No one knows how the clock is wound

Tis wound but once ... short or long
So best we hurry along

For the water is so clear
Under the bridge so near

That falls over the crest of reason
Of all the short season

Into dark pools of ignorance so far below
Time passes through the breeze none too slow

Turn around and we're born
Turn around and we're shorn

All too soon yellow hair is grey
Your friends all go slowly away

Stiff knee short site
Knowing in your heart this can't be right

Tomorrow never comes
As time counts great sums

With a will live and toil
Too soon we rest in the soil

Only love transcends all
Do heed its sweet call
