Silly Sunday – Flight of the Conchords
February 7, 2010 by Kay · 3 Comments
If you haven’t experienced New Zealand’s Flight of the Conchords, please take time and do so now. They are freakin’ hilarious.
You’ll appreciate this first video better if you are (or were) a David Bowie fan.
Bowie:
This one HAS to be a parody of The Blackeyed Peas My Humps.
Sugar Lumps:
Can this one be a parody of anyone else but Barry White?
Business Time:
Possibly, but not necessarily, related posts:
My daughter and I have spent many laughs watching Flight of the Conchords skits on the internet. I can’t believe I hadn’t seen the Bowie spoof! Thanks for posting that!
My husband and I watched about a dozen of the recorded HBO performances this morning. I think I actually like them better than the rehearsed music style videos (like I posted), but I thought these might be funner for first time watchers.
Their ability to do Bowie is pretty amazing. They do a mean Stephen Hawking too.
Hello Kay,
Good stuff… I got all the Bowie references, although to be honest, they didn’t make it too hard to pick out. I’ve heard business time before, but never saw the video…
BTW, I did see you comment on my blog. I’m never “done” with blogging; I just get caught up in other things.
Namaste.
